Major New Features
Support for BigQuery, GCP, and S3
Netskope One DSPM now supports Google BigQuery (scanning for sensitive data classification and risky queries), S3 (scanning for sensitive data only), and deployment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Tag Management
Tags are a way to group and organize data and employees. Tags are useful for creating policies and analytics.
Tags can be managed from a centralized Tag Library. Customers can create their own tags, delete tags, and categorize tags here.
Tags can be assigned to both sensitive data types and individual fields/columns within your data store from the sensitive data page.
Employees can be tagged manually on the Employee Directory page, or they can be in bulk via the employee directory CSV upload (see below.)
Netskope One DSPM also ships with a number of tags already created and assigned -- data fields such as PII, GDPR, CCPA, and PCI, and employee risk fields Low, Medium, and High -- to reduce up-front configuration and to increase automation.
Employee Directory Integration via CSV Upload
Employee metadata (e.g., Name, email, Department, Teams, etc.) can now be imported into Netskope One DSPM via CSV upload. An arbitrary number of employee fields is supported, and employee tags can also be included in the CSV upload. Employee metadata can then be used in both the authoring of policies and in reporting.
No-Code Policy Editor
Customers can now create their own policies without writing code using Netskope One DSPM’s No-Code Policy Editor. Customers can target policies by employees, employee metadata, fields/data sets in their data stores, sensitive data types, and query metadata like time of day, day of week, and number of rows produced.
Notifications via Slack, Email, Google Pub/Sub
Netskope One DSPM now supports Slack, Email, and Google Pub/Sub, in addition to AWS SNS. Recipients can be subscribed to notifications based on policy severity.
Data Visualizations
Netskope One DSPM includes a number of new data visualizations throughout the product to help summarize risky data use and accelerate insight from data.
